Residential Dementia Care
Residential dementia support is for people who need help with day-to-day living, but who don’t need on-site 24/7 nursing. Our residential dementia care services support people to maintain their independence and individuality. Our residential dementia care also encourages social activity and building relationships within the home. If you are unsure whether this is the sort of care you need, our team will be happy to talk with you about your requirements.
Here at Four Seasons Health Care Group we believe in a positive, life enhancing approach which is demonstrated in exceptional experiences for our residents, delivered by teams who are committed to making a difference and providing care through positive relationships.
People living with dementia are no different to any of us in many important respects. We all share the basic human needs for shelter, food and warmth, to live safely, to have a sense of belonging in our family and social relationships, to feel valued and to lead full and interesting lives.
Our homes have Dementia Champions, who have undergone a programme of training called: ‘Our Approach to Dementia Care’ and who in turn have carried out workshops with our team in each home.
A range of care for people living with dementia
We offer a range of care services for people living with dementia, including residential dementia care and nursing dementia care depending on an individual’s needs. Whatever their care needs, personalised care plans are created for each individual which not only look at the care needs but also help us to get to know the person, their life stories and preferences so that they can truly feel at home.
