The Laurels Care Home is located in Hetton-le-Hole and has great transport links to Sunderland and Durham. In our home we have a vibrant community, in which each of our residents feel part of the life at The Laurels.

There are a variety of lounges, perfect for enjoying a quiet moment or social gatherings, where residents can unwind and connect with family and friends. All bedrooms are beautifully decorated and designed to bring residents comfort and relaxation. Many bedrooms also feature en suites.

At the Laurels, we have a Home to Home Promise, which is our commitment to do everything we can to help you or your loved one feel at home. We believe feeling well looked after is as much about creating a sense of home as it about providing excellent personalised care.

Through our activities programme, which we call Magic Moments, we help to support residents’ all-round wellbeing. Our activities aim to stimulate the mind, body and soul, but also help residents to continue doing the things they love. A healthy and well-balanced diet is also an important factor for residents’ wellbeing. This is why our highly trained Chefs create delicious and nutritious meals, which residents choose from seasonal daily menus.
